New Moon Rhythm
Our Saturday Reiki ’n Rest sessions are aligned with the New Moon (sometimes just before or just after).
At this time, the sky darkens, the moon becomes less visible, and there is a natural quietening. Science shows us that the moon influences the tides of the earth — and as human beings made largely of water, it makes sense that we too are affected.
Traditionally, this was a time to turn inward, rest, and reflect. Reiki ’n Rest honours this ancient rhythm.
The Experience
We hold the body in deeply nourishing restorative yoga postures, fully supported for comfort and ease. The intention is not to do — but to rest.
There is great power in human connection and shared stillness. When we allow ourselves to truly rest, breathe well, and decompress the nervous system, our relationship with the world — and ourselves — begins to shift.
