Hey there!

Hey there!

It’s been forever since I did an intro here so to begin 2024 I thought I’d say hi and let you know a little bit about me. I am Aussie born, lived all over this amazing continent during my growing years – everywhere from Melbourne to Darwin and in between. Long story short, after graduating from a Bachelor of Teaching I went traveling, basing myself in London. I got my first taste of Tai Chi there actually in Covent Garden. I loved it. On my way back to Oz I met up with Jule to travel the US and Canada – she’s my mother and best buddy – she showed me some yoga and it felt awful! I was pretty tense 🤣. I had always been searching for meaning and I had also always been active, exercising is lots of ways. Funny how things eventually came together. Anyhoo, back to Oz then off again to Japan, living and teaching in the countryside, so idyllic, amazing experience. Coming back this time I had a karate injury and tried so many ways to heal it. Yoga came back to me. I went to a class and what got me was Savasana – oh wow – silent tears trickled down my cheeks – I had never felt so relaxed! I knew my calling from that moment and began studying with Grant Woolven then Radiant Light and sought out whoever I could to give me some answers. It’s been a long and winding road. 22 or so years teacher and a lot of hours of learning. So much informs my practice and teaching and recently something different has come onto my radar and I love it! Strength training! Omg! How good – bang for the buck as my coach says! Post menopause and breast treatment I felt drawn to building muscle and as life does, it manifested right before my eyes! I guess my message here today is STAY OPEN to all the things – we can have it all. If you are still reading this – thanks for listening. Let me know in the comments what you’re staying open to in 2024.
